HuisbreinPrivacy statement
Huisbrein is made by Gone With Us Studio (KvK 42074981). We are responsible for the processing described here. Questions or requests: contact@gonewithus.nl. The Dutch version is authoritative; this is a translation.
The short version. Huisbrein will be an app for iPhone and Android; this website tells you about it. The app is not available yet. If you create an account, we store your name, e-mail address, a scrambled (hashed) copy of your password and your language, so that you can sign in. We sell nothing, show no ads and do not track you. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics.
Your account. We store your name, e-mail address, your password as a salted hash (we cannot read it), your language (Dutch or English) and when you created the account. For each phone you are signed in on we store a sign-in key (only as a hash), the device name and type the app passes on, and when the key expires (after 30 days without use). We process this because you asked for an account (performance of a contract, art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Recording consent. When you accept the terms and this privacy statement, or later give or withdraw a consent, we store which version it was, when, your IP address and your browser's or app's details (user agent). That is our proof that you consented (art. 7(1) and art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Where your data is. Huisbrein's server, this website and the database run at Cloudflare (Cloudflare Workers and D1). The database and file storage are set to the EU jurisdiction: they are stored in the European Union. Like any host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical request data to deliver the service and protect it against abuse. Cloudflare is our processor and may process data outside the EU for this under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
What comes later. Huisbrein will have photos of problems in your house, documents and questions assessed by an AI model, look up address data in public registers (BAG, EP-Online) and pass jobs to tradespeople through Skillhood. None of this is active now. Before such a feature works, we add it to this statement (a new version, naming the processors) and ask for your consent where needed.
How long. We keep your data as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your name, e-mail address, password, sign-in keys and consent records are deleted at once (huisbrein.app/en/delete-account). Cloudflare's backups are overwritten within 30 days.
Your rights. You can see and download your data (in the app, or ask us), have it corrected or deleted, object, and withdraw consent. E-mail contact@gonewithus.nl; we answer within a month. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
This website. huisbrein.app sets no cookies, loads nothing from other websites (the fonts are on our own server too) and keeps no visitor statistics.
Changes. Every change gets a new version and date below. If a change affects you, the app shows it before it takes effect.
